Therefore Choose Life

Lynne Hasuly

Guilt repelled off
the armor provided,
designed to protect the creature of clay;
soul soil entrusted into the hands of the Lord...
choosing life...
choosing joy...
over stubborn refusal
to chew through the restraints of the enemy...
enticed by distorted desires within...
for the chewing produces
strength of spirit...
galvanizing resolve to seek clarity of perception...
choosing life...
choosing joy over the piercing familiarity of the abyss.

Abyss... or life? Abyss... or life?
Sort of seems like a no-brainer, yet sheep have a tough time making that call! Lovely, Lynne. I choose... life.

Great, just great!
Let's do some warfare!
His victory is ours to be had.
Thanks for this, Lynne.

Thanks for the comments, ladies...I do wonder sometimes if I am successfully climbing out of my own head. It is a joy to hear when I have. Let the praises rise to heaven...

Have a cup o'joy,
Lynne

piercing familiarity, that's for sure. Put on the shoes of the gospel of peace, not high heels! So good Lynn!
